🏅 What Does the “Recommended for Breeding – Excellent Status” Mean?
The main criteria include:

CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly): Clear (clinical or genetic test)

PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy): Clear (clinical or genetic test)

HD (Hip Dysplasia): Clear or nearly clear (Grade A or B – clinical examination)

DM (Degenerative Myelopathy): Clear or Carrier (N/N or N/DM – genetic test)

Herding Ability Test: Passed (NHAT) or Herding Working Test (HWT),
or Character Test result between 75–100 points, or BH working exam -
Conformation Evaluation: Rated Recommended for Breeding at the official breeding show
If the parents’ certified genetic test results clearly indicate that the offspring are genetically free from a specific condition, the offspring are accepted as genetically clear without requiring additional testing. This information must be recorded in both the pedigree and the official registration documents.
